A shift is needed…

NaNoWriMo Jounrnal 2015

Hey, my lovely readers!  I have some awesome news: I reached 25,000 words!  I’m officially at the halfway point of the challenge…well, sort of.  When I participate in NaNoWriMo, I don’t try to just get 50,000 words and call it good, I want to finish the novel.  So, though 25K is the halfway point of the challenge, I am not half way to the end of the novel.

The shortest novel I’ve ever written is about 64,000 words (unedited), and that was my NaNo project from 2012, Deus Ex Machina.

My longest novel to date is about 120,000 words (unedited), and is not a novel I wrote for NaNo, it’s called Cue Ball.

My longest NaNo novel clocks in around 83,000 words (unedited), and that’s last year’s project, True Automaton.

The novel I’m currently pitching to agents for publication, Written in Silence (which was my 2011 NaNo project) is about 82,000 words (complete).  Click here to read the first chapter.

As you can see, I’m a bit of a long winded writer.  I have trouble with short stories because of that fact.  But that’s okay, I like novels.

Current word count for The Priest of Tears: 25,784/50,000!

Until we meet again,

Andrew Ronzino, A Man Who Likes To Think Up Long and Pointless Fake Titles for Himself
