NaNoWriMo Day 14: Almost Dead

NaNoWriMo Jounrnal 2014

This will be a short update tonight.  I did a ton of writing today, which was great, but not a lot to talk about.

I had an unexpected and unplanned crisis crop up in the scene I was writing today that almost killed my main character, Saul.  I won’t go into details, but needless to say, if it weren’t for quick (albeit panic induced) thinking, he would have died by hitting the ground at terminal velocity.  But he was able to save himself and someone else at the same time.  I don’t think he’s going to jump out of an airplane anytime soon…or even get on one.

It was a fun scene to write, but difficult.

Current word count for True Automaton: 45,097/50,000!

Until tomorrow,
