It’s that time of year again; the leaves are turning from green to yellow, gold, red, and brown, the smell of Autumn is in the air, and the promise of pumpkin pie and apple cider are right around the corner. And what else comes with November? NaNoWriMo!
That’s right, the time has come again for me to seclude myself from the outside world and write a full novel (a minimum of 50,000 words) in only 30 days.
Unlike last year, where my friend Lizzy and I co-authored a NaNo project together, I will be doing it alone this year. This is my second year taking on the writing challenge, and if all goes well, this will be the second year I successfully complete it.
Just like last year, I will be doing a day-by-day journal of my NaNo experiences, as well as giving you glimpses of my novel as I write it. Feel free to follow along with me as I commit to NaNoWriMo, 2011!
If you want to read last year’s NaNo journal, it begins here: NaNoWriMo Day 1: Titles and Vomit
I’m excited for this year, and I hope you will join me on my journey, and encourage me when things get rough, cause I’m sure they will.
Until my first NaNo post tomorrow,
